COVID-19: important update to Canadians in Switzerland/Liechtenstein

Starting January 7, 2021, air travellers 5 years of age or older must present a negative COVID-19 test result to the airline prior to boarding international flights bound for Canada.

Everyone entering Canada must continue to follow mandatory isolation or 14-days quarantine requirements, with severe consequences and penalties in case of violation.

In Switzerland, you can be tested for the new coronavirus at various doctors, test centres, hospitals and pharmacies.

The cantons are responsible for assuring access to tests. You will find information on the various testing facilities on the relevant cantonal websites:
