For over 40 years, Benno Jäger organized adventure tours in Canada, giving Swiss visitors a close-up look at nature and the unique wildlife there. He also imports wild sockeye salmon to Switzerland and founded Jaeger Pacific GmbH for this purpose in 2015.
Benno Jeager’s story is one of adventure, determination, and passion. At 29, he left his perfect life in Switzerland to start anew in Canada, bringing his ski equipment and a desire to work as a ski instructor. He quickly found success in Vancouver, becoming a cross-country ski instructor and opening his own ski shop, “Benno’s Cross-Country Ski Centre,” which thrived for 16 years.
After closing his shop, Benno began organizing adventure tours in Canada, sharing his love for the country’s natural beauty with people from Switzerland. His tours, including grizzly bear sightings and Arctic ice road trips, became highly popular, with over 50,000 participants praising the unique experiences.
