TRADE WARS AND US EXCEPTIONALISM: INVESTMENT STRATEGIES FOR AN UNCERTAIN FUTURE – BREAKFAST PRESENTATION – ZURICH
5 March - 8 h 00 à 10 h 00

AN ECONOMIC UPDATE WITH HYPOSWISS PRIVATE BANK – WEDNESDAY MARCH 5TH 2025
The economic environment of the past two years has been characterized by “US Exceptionalism”. The US Economy achieved better growth, higher productivity and more progress in corporate profits than the rest of the world.
We will look at the factors underpinning this divergent performance and discuss the possible influence of the policies pursued by the newly emboldened Trump administration (deregulation, tariffs, fiscal policy) going forward.
We will end with a few recommendations on the construction of investement portfolios and offer some thoughts on the role of crypto assets and generative AI related investement in this context.
