Spring has sprung! And with it, new opportunities for collaboration between Canada and Europe.
In March, the chamber hosted two highly appreciated economic forecast breakfasts (Geneva and Zürich), both of which highlighted the importance of Canada diversifying its trade partners and strengthening its ties to European economies in the wake of troubling policies from the Trump Administration.
The gala of the Association of international chambers of commerce (AICC) provided an excellent opportunity to make new international connections. This year’s edition took place on March 21 and members of the CSCC were able to connect with close to 350 business people from 20 countries.
The CSCC was also pleased to welcome close to 80 people for a unique evening of shopping and networking at Canadian brand Lululemon in Zürich on March 26, showcasing that Canadians take a lot of pride in our companies at home and abroad.
Earlier this year the CSCC presented four Fondue & Hockey nights in Geneva, Zug, Bern and Zurich and in February Vanessa Lépine reprised her “Talk Like Comedian, Present Like a Boss” seminar in Geneva.
As the days get longer, we’re putting away our winter coats, digging in our gardens, and looking forward to meeting fellow members and friends at upcoming events.
